HTC announced on October 18, 2011 that the company is going to acquire 100% stake in US Inquisitive Minds for US$13 million, according to the United Daily News of Taiwan. Inquisitive Minds designs PCs, Smartphones, and tablet devices for children under the brand Zoodles, with approximately 200 users at present. After the acquisition, it is projected that Inquisitive Minds will continue to operate independently. It is reported that through the acquisition, HTC aims to enhance its digital content, application program platform, and related interface design.
